How To Change Screen Sensitivity On Note 8

I purchased my Note eight in November 2017, and now when entering text I must push unusually difficult to enter the letters and numbers. I already adapted the screen sensitivity to 1 (information technology'due south everyman setting), and have tried the reboot, and it still only picks up every other letter of the alphabet. This is highly frustrating for a 4 month old, quite expensive telephone. I am looking for a prepare to this.

Are you using any screen protector? Those can affect the screen sensitivity. Likewise, the only setting (that I know of) for screen sensitivity on the Note is for the abode button (and information technology's more for a 'hard press' than for true screen sensitivity), and you seem to have problems with the keyboard area. Practise you lot notice macerated sensitivity in other areas of the screen or only the keyboard? Is your South-Pen working properly?

Spookdroid- thanks for your response. I am not using any screen protector, and with the South-pen everything functions perfectly fine. Without it the entire screen has sensitivity problems. (Ex.- if attempting to zoom in using maps it requires several attempts to complete). The near frustrating is entering text- to use the South-pen for that every time is quite inconvenient.

Sounds similar your screen might have detached from the glass or it got some other outcome in that location and might need replacing. But offset, attempt booting up your phone in condom manner... If the sensitivity outcome persists at that place, it's a hardware problem. If it's not in that location, then it's an app you installed that's causing some conflict
